What We Believe

We believe that the Bible is God's word written by men but inspired by the Holy Spirit. It is authoritative on all matters on which it speaks. It is the believers guide book for life. 

We believe that God is the Creator and ruler of the universe. He has existed eternally in three personalities, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We believe that Heaven and Hell are real places. Man through salvation by faith will live with Christ forever. Without salvation man will be separated from God in Hell. 

We believe that Jesus (both God and man) is the Son of God; he lived a sinless life, and offered himself as the perfect sacrifice for all mankind's sins by dying on the cross in Calvary. He rose again three days later to demonstrate His power over death and ascended into Heaven where He will reign forever. 

We believe that salvation is a free gift but we must accept it. We can't earn our way into Heaven by self-improvement or good works. It is salvation by grace not by anything we can do on my own. The believer’s salvation is secure from the moment we trust in Christ’s saving work on the cross. 

We believe that the Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son. It is his presence in the world that make us all aware of our need for Jesus Christ.  He lives inside of every Christian from the moment of salvation. He helps us to understand spiritual truth, and He guides us in our walk.
